Manchester Orchestra Wednesday of Release Week Update

NUMBER 11 ALBUM ON ITUNES

Yesterday Manchester Orchestra and Sony released their album Mean Everything to nothing; today I found out that Manchester Orchestra is in the 11th spot for top album on iTunes! They were in the 10th at some point today.

I wasn't going to buy their CD on iTunes, but if it helps them compete, I'll download it.

4K FOLLOWERS ON TWITTER

In other Manchester News they put out a tweet that asked for people to spread the word to get them up to 4k followers. The person who becomes the 4000th follower will get a free METN Record that is signed. ha! I hope they get 40,000 followers.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Manchester Orchestra is getting the attention they need. I guess they are involved with Sony Music some how, because of this they will get the distribution they need! This band is getting props from all the important people/groups that matter. AbsolutePunk.net gave the cd a 5/5 which NEVER happens, and said something along the lines of "most looked forward to cd of 09"

I woke up to a twitter post by the band saying they were on iTunes as the music video of the week! I love the song, but honestly I dind't want to watch the video because I assumed they were not in it because they are doing one video for every song on the album.

Anyway saw the video, loved it, they are in the video toward the end and at 3:25 in there is a bear who sings, and makes me laugh every time. I may never listen to the song the same.
