If you've been keeping up with the music game you know who Kid Cudi is. If you don't then here's your chance.
Kanye West signed Cudi after he heard his first single Day and Nite playing in clubs followed by crowds showing appreciation to the song.
Cudi's album is about to drop, or already did. It leaked a few weeks ago. He sets himself apart from other rappers by rapping about day to day struggles instead of being rich and famous. If his lyrics aren't enough to set him apart he also has a few songs that sound more like electronic beats than rap. His new album has 2 songs produced by Ratatat *electronic music* one of them even features MGMT.
I call it emo-rap, and I love it.
